Branching & Audio

Jan 14, 2014

Hello all-

I have a slide in my presentation that branches to 3 others, and the user must click on a hyperlinked graphic on the original slide to get to the topic of their choice. After reviewing the topic slide, they click the "next" button, and are brought back to the original slide so they can review the rest of the topics.

Is there a way to restrict the audio/narration on the original slide when the user is brought back to it after the first time (to click on the other hyperlinked graphics)?

Thanks in advance!

Hi Madeline. In Presenter, usually what I do is create a copy of the original slide but remove the narration. And then when users click Back or Next they are brought back to the copied slide and don't have to sit through the narration again. The tricky part is making sure the Branching in your Slide Properties is correct.
