When the CD option is chosen for publishing, Articulate creates an autorun.inf file--which tells Windows to autolaunch the specified EXE on the CD. Keep in mind that many PCs may have the CD autolaunch feature disabled in Windows, and there's nothing you can do to override this.

Whys does the autolaunch show slides in HTML5 instead of FLASH? Can this be adjusted to start in Flash.

With Storyline 3 and Storyline 360, the CD published output will now launch the HTML5 version. Are you running into an issue with it?
