I am new to these forums, so my apologies if this is not being posted in the correct location.
We have utilized Articulate to create several online training courses. Recently, we have begun experiencing issues with modules retaining a status of "In Progress" within the LMS (Docent 6.5), even though the users have completed them.
Our theory is that we may need to utilize a "delay code" within the Java script.
Have others encountered this situation? And, if so, can you provide me with any information regarding how to properly apply a "delay code"? Any help or guidance is appreciated!
We had a similar issue with our LMS (Meridian KSI). I created a "smokin mirror" flash file and inserted it in a blank slide after the quiz that I was using to track completion of the course. I set the quiz properties to go to Next Slide after successfully passing.
The flash file reads... "Processing Score, Please Wait" it loops for about 10 seconds and then displays "Your scores have been processed, you may now exit the module." (In reality, the slide does absolutely nothing, but force the participant to wait a few secs for the LMS commit)
If you are experiencing issues with content in your LMS, please refer to the following Word of Mouth blog entry, which outlines common issues pertaining to viewing and tracking content in an LMS:
