Hi, Julie: I assume you are talking about the Presenter/PowerPoint aspect of the Studio 13 suite. No, it doesn't allow you to insert triggers and buttons, as you can in Storyline.
Of course, you can get close to the effect you want via hyperlinks--e.g., place a hyperlink on a slide which brings you to a new slide and on that new slide have whatever animation you want on whatever object.
Quizmaker is the most advanced part of the suite, interactivity-wise. You've got a real timeline, branching options, and so on.
