I have a video link embedded into a .ppt slide. It launches fine in PowerPoint presentation mode so I know the link is good. It does not launch, however, after publishing in Presenter 09. I'm using scorm 2004. Can anyone shed light on this?
Hi Ron, this may be completely unrelated, but I think it's worth a look.
If you're using PPT '07 or newer, the slashes in hyperlinks can be reversed after publishing, rendering an external link that previously worked fine useless. So after you've published, go back to the link in the PowerPoint that you inserted and see if the slashes have, in fact, been reversed.
A workaround for this is to save your PPT in compatibility mode for 2003. This will give you a file name with the extension PPT rather than PPTX.

Hi Ron!
If videos don't play in your published output, see this article for reasons and solutions.
Thanks Leslie ... will try these.
I sent my files into your support team. Will they look at them and advise???
Absolutely!
