Filling the Screen - Need Some Help

Jan 26, 2017

I know there are a bunch of posts about this already, but none really seem to get me where I want to be with this. I want my agents taking my elearning on their widescreen monitors or projectors have a FULL SCREEN image. The closest I seem to be able to get is in the attached picture. But this still seems like a huge waste of real estate on each side. Assuming I am on a 1920 x 1080 monitor or so, does anyone have any tips to use more of this screen (stretching the player almost seems like what I want, or maybe a way to make the original slides a specific size so it works out to be a full screen? Currently I do Resize Browser-->Scale player to fill Broweser-->Launch new window.   Thanks!

Hi there Brian!

In addition to choosing the Player setting Scale player to fill browser window, you'll also want to choose the Browser setting Resize browser to fill screen, which you may have already done here. Since we will never stretch the height or width of your course to fill the browser window at the expense of the Presentation Size you've chosen, you'll want to choose a Presentation Size aspect ratio that matches the ratio of your screen size.

For example, the screen size you mentioned above is 1920x1080, which is an aspect ratio of 16:9. Be sure that your presentation size also matches the 16:9 aspect ratio so that it can easily scale up to 1920x1080 and fill the entire screen.

Let me know if that answers your question!
