Glossary - definitions not visible

Aug 27, 2014

Hallo!

I hope you will be able to help me with 2 problems I am struggling with:

1. Glossary

I have added the glossary in my course and it is visible. But I can't see the definitions that I have added when I preview my slides. What am I doing wrong?

2. Volume button in Quizmaker

I can't remove the volume button in Quizmaker. What can I do to fix this?

I have uploaded the file here - I will be so gratefull if you could help me with this?

Thank you!

Adene

Hi Adene!

It doesn't appear that the Glossary is being displayed in your player, so be sure to check out this tutorial. If you need to manage this for different slides, you can do that via slide properties as explained here.

The details on volume controls in Quizmaker can be found here, however, since you are utilizing Presenter and the player has been unified, this is controlled by Presenter and is handled at the Player level and cannot be turned off on individual slides.

Hi Leslie,

I have viewed the tutorial several times and have been doing it as far as I know right. Please see the screen shots where the glossary is selected in the Player. Like I said, I can see the glossary tab in my preview but the different definitions are not visible. If I did not switch the glossary on, I would not have been able to see the glossary tab. Why then am I seeing it but not the added definitions?

I took another look Adene, and I can see now that your glossary tab is just not on all of the slides. Unfortunately, I am not seeing the same behavior:

If you view published Articulate Presenter content on your local hard drive or send it to someone else to view on their local hard drive, you'll encounter security restrictions from the computer, web browser, Flash Player, and network that'll cause various features to fail. To test your content and share it with others, you'll need to upload it to the environment for which it was published. Here's how.

Have you tested this in another browser?
