Help! Slides "Pause" at end of animations and lock symbol appears

May 23, 2013

When particular slides get to the end of the timeline (there is no audio), instead of allowing me to click on the arrow to go to the next slide, the timeline says "Paused" and when I move my mouse over the arrow to advance, the lock icon appears.  I cannot advance tot he next slide.  I checked Slide Properties to make sure that the slide was not locked and it wasn't.  I have tried setting User Navigation to Restricted and to Free, but I get the same results.  I have even tried branching to the next slide, but that didn't work either.  I also made sure that it was set to By User instead of Automatic.   Many slides (including this one) are Hidden, but I have had many hidden in the past and those presentations have worked fine.

Also, I inserted an Learning Game, and when I get to the last question in the learning game and click on "(Click Here to Continue,"  nothing happens and I am stuck again.  However, the time bar says "Playing."

I am using a computer that runs on Windows 7.  My browser is FIrefox (in case that even matters).

Ok.........now I found out that this unwanted "Paused" action is happening in a published project on the LMS.

Any suggestions on how to fix these issues?

Thanks.

Hi Z,

Would you be able to send us the project files so we can explore what's going on? First, create an Articulate Presenter Package of your presentation as described here. Then upload the resulting zip file from your computer on the second page of this form, and we''ll attempt to diagnose what's happening when we receive your upload.

Thanks!
