Help... Synced Animations play too fast

Dec 20, 2011

I recorded narration in Presenter and I have between 10 and 20 animations synced "on click," but when I review them in the Preview they play at much faster and not when I synced them. Any ideas?

Hi Molly, and welcome to Heroes!

Would like to Create an Articulate Presenter Package and upload the zip file to us so that our awesome support engineers can take a close look at it? You can do that here:

Please include the thread for this url so that we can follow up in the forums. And if you'd like to leave your case number here as well, I'd be happy to follow it personally. Thanks, and happy holidays!

Thanks for your quick response!

Good news, Bad news.

Good news: I have figured out a solution and my problems are gone! Bad news: the solution was removing all the existing animations from multiple slides, re-building the animations, and then re-syncing them with the audio.

Something in the existing animation sequence must've been creating the issue. Hope this small win can help others.

Thanks for sharing your update, Molly! I'm glad you were able to get it resolved.

Something to store away for the future perhaps, is a known issue where you may find that your animations are not synchronized as expected if all the following criteria are true:

    * You attempted to sync the same slide more than once using the Sync Animations tool.

    * You did not click the Save & Close button in the Sync Animations tool between attempts.

    * You used the Play button in the Sync Animations tool to preview the slide.

Here's an article with more information:

Thanks again for sharing your findings, and happy holidays!
