How has the way the files are created changed in 13?

Nov 19, 2013

We have a home grown system that we developed locally to present our training.  We load the files on the C: drive of each computer and reference them from our portal system website.  In previous versions of Articulate Presenter, we would merely reference the html file and it ran perfectly.  However, with 13 it will not run when referenced from our portal system.  It will run if you browse Windows Explorer and run the html file.  I'm trying to figure out what's different?  Is there something different we need to allow for?

Hi Tony and welcome to Heroes!

The presentation.html file is the file that launches the course, but if you're running it from a local drive, it may be encountering some local security restrictions that are preventing it from playing. Are you able to load the Presenter course to the system website instead of linking from the C drive? Have you looked into publishing for CD, as this will package your files for local deployment?
