How to change the dialog box message that appears
Dec 09, 2011
I created a module where the learner must attempt and pass the quiz before advancing to the slides after the quiz. Only problem is that in the module I have some slides that are hidden so even though the quiz in actuality is slide #52 according to the outline tab it is #38.
Anyone know if it is possible to change the message from, "You must attempt the quiz at slide 52 to advance" to "You must attempt the quiz at slide 38 to advance" and if it is which file do I need to access in the published files at least i'm assuming that's the route in changing the statement?
Funny thing is when the employee told me this, he might as well just said how come when I try to start the module then jump to the very end it won't let me? haha BUSTED...

You can rename this in text labels on the player templates section, Not sure you can rename the slide number though
Nevermind I just found out how to do it...It's under the playerproperties.xml file. Look for the statement:
You can change the "%slidenumber% to the particular number or remove change "slide %slidenumber% to the name of the slide listed on the outline tab.
Sorry, for some reason the statement didn't paste...The statement you have to look for is "
You must attempt the quiz at slide %slidenumber% to advance.
."
Again that is located in the playerproperties.xml file in the data folder.
Thanks Adam, have filed this in case I ever need it
