Presently im using articulate studio 5 now i want to update 8, Please help me the safest way to update without losing my serial number. Im really worried how to update.
When you upgrade to Studio '09 you are provided with new serial numbers. You can upgrade your product here. You can also take a look at our FAQ for answers to common questions about the upgrade process.
The only software you can have installed simultaneously is Quizmaker 2 and Quizmaker '09. The rest would need to be uninstalled. Keep in mind that Presenter '09 uses a different file structure than Presenter 5 so once you upgrade a project to '09, it isn't really that easy to downgrade the project. If you have more than one computer, you might want to try Studio '09 on a different computer to make sure it meets your needs.
You do need to reactivate the software when you upgrade. Your serial numbers are in the About menu of each application or they would be in the product activation email we sent when you purchased.

I need to uninstall the software or else i can start studio 09 installation

thanks for the prompt reply, Im sorry for not clear, actually i want to move from studio 09 update5 to studio 09 update8

The software will uninstall whatever it needs to uninstall. You don't have to do anything. Just download the latest version and run the installer.
