Insert JavaScript through Articulate

Jul 06, 2011

My company uses Intellum Rollbook for an LMS. In order for our courses to be properly tracked from the LMS to our internal system, "WinTeam", there must be a score.  In the past, we have  primarily used Captivate as our authoring tool and built in an exit button at the end with the a JavaScript that forces the 100% on courses (w/o an exam).

However, I am trying to make the switch to use Presenter as our main authoring tool. I published an Articulate Presenter course on the LMS today. While it does accept the “passed” status, and pushes the enrollment to History – it is not creating the “100%” we need for tracking.

Do you have any suggestions on how to publish differently?  When asking the folks at Intellum (our LMS) if have gotten this response:

To his knowledge, there is not a simple publishing setting in Articulate that will make this happen.  However, you should be able to insert JavaScript through Articulate.  He has never done so, but thinks he recalls seeing that it is possible.  What you are looking to include in the JavaScript command is "LMSSetValue("cmi.core.score.raw","100");".  This will set the score to 100%.

Does anyone have any solutions? Greatly appreciated!

Best,
Jordyn Moss

PS - I don't know JavaScript, just trying to make this talk to my internal system with a score (%)!
