I am a hobbyist and have just completed my first project on Articulate as I wish to share with friends and collegues who have their own PC. Somebody advised me to use Install Shield but, its too complicated and expensive! Has anybody got ideas to help me please (I want recipients to have the .exe of Articulate - I have even created an Icon in Photoshop for the programme.
Any help and advice would be very much appreciated - please remember its a small project and so is the budget!
publish it to cd, and give it to them on a cd, or host it on the web and give them the link, you don't need to install it on their machine and to be honest flash will likely show security errors if you do
A published articulate project really is not a program to be installed on end users machines it is intended to be used via internet/intranet or run off a CD. Most designers will share this way. I would not install it on their machine
