I installed the latest patch last week for Studio 13. Now, when I use any browser (eg, IE, FireFox) to view the published course (by clicking on presentation.html) on my harddrive (not via the LMS), the module starts to launch but then it gets stuck in spin mode. We have always embedded our modules in SumTotal's ToolBook authoring tool and have always been able to view the modules via the presentation.html file on the local drive. However, now we can not since installing the latest patch. Help!
If you just see a spinning circle or a Flash Player notification when you launch published courses locally in Google Chrome, you may be seeing a new Flash Player security feature. See this article for details and solutions.
For anyone else, I did the following: Control Panel > Flash Player > Advanced tab > Trusted Location Settings, and then add the folder(s) where you usually unzip your zip files when viewing locally.
