I have a slide in Articulate Studio 13 that requires learners to use a link to take an outside survey. How do I set the requirements to not allow the learner to move forward without taking the survey first?
Hi, Jill -- Thanks for reaching out! Perhaps you might want to consider checking out this discussion on a similar topic and let us know if any of the ideas suggested will work for you?
Presenter doesn't allow the use of variables and triggers like Storyline, so I'm not sure how you could pull this off, especially considering you will be going to an outside survey.
Hopefully some members in the community will be able to chime in and assist.
Hello Jill, a few years ago there was a question on how to force people to open an attachment before moving on in the course.
While not elegant, I did find a way using Quizmaker. It simply puts a one-question, fill-in-the-blank quiz after the notification to open the attachment (or in your case, take a survey). The text answer to the fill-in-the-blank question would be provided at the end of your survey.
Without that answer, the quiz navigation would be set to prevent continuing the course.
Here's the link from that discussion; the online sample I provided is a dead link, but the package attachment should still be available.
