Locking advance of slide until all narration is completed
Dec 14, 2018
I need the learners to listen to the whole slide before they can advance, but I want them to click to advance.
I thought I had to add a hyperlink and remove the Previous and Next to accomplish this. I've done this. When I had the Previous Next buttons, and I locked Navigation, they couldn't advance at any point, even when narration was complete. That seemed a bit strange.
I've added an action shape (a right facing arrow) which is a hyperlink to the next slide.
But they can advance at any time - before animations and narration is complete.
I have changed all of the Slide Properties back and forth. But they can still advance with the hyperlink.
HELP!!

PowerPoint hyperlinks work independently of Presenter's navigation functions.
You can add an entrance animation to the action shape to make it appear on-screen at the end of your narration. (The user can't click what isn't there ...)
