Logo quality - help!

Feb 16, 2016

Hi all, when using Presenter 2013 / PPT  2010, the logo I choose for the Top left of the screen always comes out blurry whereas all other images in the main screen are crisp.  I have read many discussions here, all the things suggested fail to make a difference.

Does any one have the defacto answer to what size / format I should use to make the logo crisp and clear as well?  My examples here show the issue.

Hope to get this sorted as it seems odd that this logo could be a client logo and they are not going to want that to be distorted...

Cheers all :)

Hi Graham,

I would first check that you're running the latest version of Studio '13.

Images may be blurry if your published output is scaled larger than the original. To avoid scaling and to sharpen images, see the recommendations in this article.

If all of your settings match what's described in the article above, you are welcome to submit your course to our support team to have a look at.  Please be sure to package your course and send it to us if we need to take a look.

Hope this helps.

Hi Graham,

I'd agree with all the items that Bret mentioned here, and you'll also want to check the size at which you've inserted the logo. We'd recommend to use an image that has a maximum width of 200 pixels and a maximum height of 220 pixels. If your image doesn't fit within these dimensions, Presenter will scale it to fit.
