Moodle Scorm articulate presenter

Apr 17, 2014

HI,

i am currently using articulate presenter 13 and Moodle 2.6.

i have a lecture of about 25Mb. when i upload to moodle and try to open it,it will take about 50 seconds before actually starting ,  now here is the tricky part. i tried to upload a smaller package of 1.5Mb and this almost takes the same amount of timeas the 25Mb package.

it appears to me that articulate is actually loading fast, but the problem might be with moodle

is there something i can do to decrease the load time in moodle. ?

Thanks for sharing

Hi there Zeid and welcome to E-Learning Heroes!

First, I would recommend testing your project on a server other than Moodle, to see if it's an issue with the server itself or the project(s).

  • I suggest using SCORM Cloud for your course - it's a great place to test SCORM content.
  • Another option would be to use our Tempshare server. Just keep in mind that this server is only available for testing content - it is not officially supported by Articulate and all content will be removed automatically after 10 days.
  • You're always welcome to try out Articulate Online, as well - it's available for a free 30 day trial.

Let us know if the slowness continues when testing on another server.

Thanks!
