My library of courses can't find my audio or video files

May 17, 2013

I had to reinstall Windows 7 several weeks ago.   I backed up and restored everything and I thought everything was fine.  Then I tried to run some of my online courses only to discover that my audio files and video files were simply not there.     I REPAIRED Articulate, but that has not accomplished anything.    I was asked to install and upgraded  version of Flash but that hasn't helped either.    Surely there is a solution other than revising each module one at a time.   That would represents months of additional work that I cannot do at this time.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Hi, Ed and welcome: Something similar happened to me a few years ago. My computer froze up and when that happened, Studio created (as a safeguard) two versions of my Presenter file. Look at your Presenter file: do you have two versions? One with "old" and one with "new" at the end? That's what happened to me. Basically, I had to delete the "new" one.

Here's an article for troubleshooting the various issues that might be causing your "no audio" issue. Hope it helps. Best, Daniel
