I installed Articulate Studio '13 yesterday. Today my PowerPoint 10 won't work right. If I try to cut and paste from on file to another, it stops working. If I try to open a PPT file I downloaded from my email, PowerPoint stops working. The slide file has some kind of protection on it that no one installed. Is this because of Studio '13?
Having similar issues can't publish when converting an 09 version. Says I must enable ribbon in PowerPoint options but it is not disabled. Frustrating. Logged support issue but get stock answers.
Have you filed a support case recently that I could take a look at? I see where you filed a support case (00739212) on 2/19 and that Karla reached out to you.
It looks like we did not hear back from you to further assist you.
I apologize if you feel like you received a stock answer, but the solution shared with you is the most common fix to the issue you are reporting.
Have you attempted a repair of your software to see if this alleviates the issue?
I just installed Studio '13 on Tues. night late. I started having big time troubles with my PowerPoint yesterday. For a while I thought it was the PPT files sent to me. Then I found I could not even copy a slide from one file and paste it in another file (I had created both PPT files). The only change had been uninstalling Studio '09 and installing '13.
I'm on a very tight deadline and don't have time for these kinds of problems. I filed this problem the same way I filed the previous problem. Have you had problems reported with Studio '13 and PowerPoint?
Perhaps something happened during the install. Typically a repair will correct this issue.
I'm not sure what you mean by filing the problem. If you reached out to our support team, I'd be happy to follow along. You are welcome to share the case number here if you wish.
I also wanted to mention that your signature is attached to your reply here in the forums, and you are welcome to pop in and edit if needed.
I posted my problem in the forum. That's what I did the first time and I got an email with instructions and a case number. It was midnight last night and I was frustrated. I'm surprised I didn't call and scream.
I will try the repair and hope that works. Otherwise I will have to uninstall 13 and leave it off until I'm ready to use it.
I took a closer look at my PowerPoint and see 2 Articulate tabs. Studio '09 never uninstalled when I installed '13. I was never given the choice in the installation process. How do I uninstall 09? it is not showing on my computer uninstall program window, but is still on my desktop.
Thank you for the details and this is an issue that our support team will be able to assist you with. I see where you filed a case (00745077) and you should be hearing from Robert soon. I've made a note that you were subsequently reaching out in the forums as well and I will be sure to follow along.
I'm glad Robert was able to do the job for me. It was not an easy fix, but he managed to get it figured out. Now my PowerPoint is working fine again. Studio '09 and Studio '13 really do not like each other. Thanks for the service.

Just let us know how we can further assist. I'm not seeing a case number associated with this issue.
How do I get a case number for this problem? You are NOT reading what I am replying nor helping?
You are correct Kathleen. That was not what I was understanding you to be asking at all.
If the repair does not assist, you are welcome to work directly with our support team here.
Submitting a case via that form will generate a case for you.
