Not sure if these are Moodle or Articulate issues?

Dec 30, 2011

Hi Everyone,

Can you tell me if these are articulate or moodle issues? If it is an articulate issue, can anybody tell me how to solve them?

As you can see from the attached image, when I open the course i made using articulate in moodle, there are quite a few problems in how it is being displayed:

1. - how do i disable this sidebar?
2. - how do i disable this navigation bar?
3. - Can i stop this popup from appearing?

Hope you can help!

Popup 3 is Articulate, go to player templates/player controls and untick allow resume

1 is a moodle issue, you are choosing to open in current window but you should be able to disable this inn your scorm settings

I have never seen number 2 are you using moodle 2.0 (we use 1.9 still) it is likely moodle and can be disabled in the scorm settings

Hello,

I can help with item 2.  You are displaying the Moodle Navigation Buttons.  When you added the SCORM activity, you need to choose 'YES' for 'Hide Navigation buttons.

I launch my SCO's in a pop-up, although this may cause other issues you need to address. (I.E. Pop-up blockers, odd behaviour with IE 9).

The 'sidebar issue' will be able to removed by changing the options of the 'Display Course Structure' in the same settings area.  Refer to my settings above for an idea of what I do to take care of these options.

I hope this helps....

Cheers,

Dave

You will find it very familiar......the one thing I had to wrap my head around was 'repositories'.  The file system is a bit different and seems to be one of the biggest complaints.

Good luck with it!  If, along the way you find some good resources for info about Moodle 2, let me know.  I am always on the hunt for good forums/blogs/PDF's, etc.....

Cheers,

Dave
