Notes Tab in Quizmaker

Hello all:

I'm building a draft of a course without audio and am using the text in the Notes tab to describe what's on-screen.  I've set my Notes tab to the left of the Menu tab in the sidebar, so the Notes tab is the first thing the user sees when they open the course.  However, when the user gets to a Quizmaker file, the Notes tab disappears and the Menu tab appears.  My question is: is there anyway to leave the Notes tab open in the player during the duration of a Quizmaker file?  Or will it always switch over to the Menu tab? 

Also, I've noticed that during Quizmakers quizzes some of my inserted tabs in the Course Player don't work (ie. these are Engage interactions that I've inserted in the top left of the course player as tabs).  Is this a known issue?
