Ordering Video & Images
Sep 27, 2011
I have a video that I want to have "embedded" in a TV image so that it looks like it's actually playing on the TV screen. The first slide is just a picture of the tv and when the user clicks it, it advances to the next slide and plays the video. My problem is that on the video screen I can't figure out how to place my video "behind" the TV image to create this effect. The traditional right-click > order > send to back (or bring to front) doesn't work with the video.
Any suggestions?

Hi Alicia, its not possible to place anything on top of a flash file or web objevt, you could use quizmaker to do this, as you can overlay a swf in quizmaker
Phil, I saw the example in something Ron Price at Yukon did. I'm fairly certain the example he showed wasn't in Quizmaker. I can't see/have access to the example he showed so I was reaching out here...Any other suggestions?
Hi Alicia,
You might need to recreate your own television image to accomplish this. For more information, check out the tutorial below:

You can cut out the tv and lay the video over the top, so it looks like it is coming from the TV, you can also import it into flash and layer your images in flash then import that as a swf
I think david Anderson did a tutorial https://player.vimeo.com/video/204930081 using a masking layer using video encoder that may work
