Player Controls Not Staying Set

I am in the midst of publishing several learning modules and I have run into an odd problem. I have made several changes to the player controls and playback settings. For instance, none of the content contains audio, but long display times are desirable. So, controls have been set for playback at 600 seconds. User controls have been adjusted to give all player control to the users. The seekbar has been removed.
When I publish and do playback on my desktop, everything works well. However, when I upload to the local server, all the settings seems to go away: slides advance at 12 second intervals, and the seekbar appears at the bottom of the player frame.
Can you suggest a way to make these changes stick?

It sounds like you're seeing cached data online. Can you try clearing your cache & browser history to see if that resolves the issue?

I clear my cache as a regular part of my routine anywhere from 5-8 times a day and had tried that, but for some reason something was indeed sticking.
I ended up clearing again, backing our of my browser and open applications and shutting down. After I restarted and logged back into the server everything was as expected.
Sometimes it is the simple things...
