I don't know what combination of keys I hit, but suddenly the text in my Notes page view is HUGE. No matter what I do, I can't change the font size. It prints out normally, so it must be a View problem. I've gone into the Notes Master, but nothing I do there makes a difference either.
If you go to the View tab, highlight the Normal Presentation View, click in the Notes section at the bottom, then click Zoom (back at the top).Does that allow you to change the size?
Oh Kristen, you are my HERO!!!! I have been searching help files all day for this solution and this is the third forum I'd posted to. Nobody has been able to help me, until now. Thank you so much!

THANKS!!! I had the reverse problem--all my text looked like it was at 8 pt font!
I spent an hour this morning trying to find the answer to this problem with no results. Kristen, you are my hero as well! (And why does Microsoft not know this answer??)
Looks like this conversation is 5 years old, but a huge THANK YOU from me as well today, 10/16/2016 - i couldn't figure out how to minimize the view to save my life - thank you again!
The post is dated but very useful! I've solved the same problem with Powerpoint 2016 on Mac OS X. I've done the same thing, View -> Normal -> Click on the Notes text -> CMD + / CMD - to increment/decrement the zoom!
I had this issue and accidentally noticed that CTRL+the mouse wheel will zoom in or out within the notes section and the slide section independently. The solution mentioned will set each view to 100% (or whatever you choose)
