Presenter and Android

Nov 09, 2012

Greetings, all!

I've run into quite a sticky problem at my day job, and I'm hoping someone here can help me.

We currently have nearly all of our online courses produced in Articulate Presenter.  However, we also bought a number of Android-based Galaxy Tablets as part of a state-wide public health campaign.  These tablets are to be installed as kiosks, which run an HTML5-based site that showcases several Articulate-produced Presenter tutorials.  Of course, the hammer came down just a few short months ago with regards to Flash and Android, leaving us unable to install Flash Player on any of our newest shipment of tablets.  Our tech guy has tried every trick he could find to install Flash Player and get it running on these tablets and, for whatever reason, nothing has worked.  So what I need to know is: has anyone succeeded in finding a solution to this problem?  I would dearly love to NOT have to recreate all these courses.

Again, we have tried every recommended work-around and trick to get Flash Player installed on the tablets, and they HAVE NOT WORKED (my personal guess is that it may be interference caused by the proprietary kiosk software we're running on the tablets).  I'd like to know if there's any kind of patch I can paste into the HTML5 code or even into some of the published Presenter code.  I'm open to suggestions.  Most of the solutions I've found so far seem to assume that a developer has a single FLV they're trying to display and, as you all know, Articulate presentations are a combination of many swfs and html and other codey goodness.

Any help is greatly appreciated, and please feel free to ask for clarification, if there are any points for which I haven't supplied sufficient information.
