I have cleared my cache; run repair on MS office and Articulate studio 13; rebooted my machine and i still have the problem. Thought, comments, suggestions?

Hi Janean,

Thanks for reaching out and sharing what you are running into with your Presenter file.

Is this happening in all files or just this single project? Are you getting an error of any type?

You may be able to alleviate any specific file problem by importing your slides into a new PowerPoint file:

  1. Create a new PowerPoint presentation.
  2. Go to the Home tab on the PowerPoint ribbon, click the drop-down arrow beside New Slide, and choose Reuse Slides.
  3. In the Reuse Slides panel, click the Browse button and choose Browse File.
  4. Browse to your original PowerPoint file and click Open.
  5. At the bottom of the Reuse Slides panel, mark the box to Keep source formatting.
  6. Right-click the first slide in the Reuse Slides panel and select Insert All Slides.
  7. Save the new presentation and publish with Presenter 360.

Articulate resources, such as audio and video, will need to be inserted again into the new presentation. You may need to export the narration from your original presentation, then import it into the new presentation.

Hi Janean,

It looks like you may be replying via e-mail, so I cannot see the image that you've attached here.

You've narrowed this down to a single slide in your course and you have the same issue when using the slide in a new course?

It sounds like the slide itself may be corrupted. If you recreate this slide, do you still see the same issue or are you then able to preview the slide as expected?

Hi,
The slide is too complicated to recreate; so, I captured the image and pasted it on a new slide and copied the audio over. It won’t have any builds, but at least it will work in that state. So, when I went to save the Articulate file is frozen. I’m in process of forcing a closing of the file and will repeat whatever steps are necessary to make this slide work.

Sometimes problems are soo time consuming. ☹
