Hello! I keep getting a publishing error on a particular presentation. The error pops up after it says "Generating Quiz slide 15 of 15" (we end the presentation with a quiz). Within the error box, it says "Unable to cast object of type 'a.aa.e.b.d.ac' to type 'a.aa.e.b.d.ad'" What does this mean? I really don't want to re-do this presentation!
Sorry to hear that you've run into an error and unfortunately that's not one that I'm familiar with. I've seen another user report a similar sounding issue here, but it was related to SmartArt.
If you could share your Articulate Package, that would be helpful so that we could take a look.
Sorry to hear you've run into this too. Have you successfully published in the past? It doesn't seem that we got to the root cause of this with Tara, so I'm not sure what caused it. I'd love to have you work with our Support Engineers, as they'll be able to dig into your computer set up a bit more than we can do in ELH! Let me know if you reach out to them here, and I'll follow along!
I would love to get to the root cause of this issue. I have successfully published presentations as recently as this morning. I just opened a case and attached my articulate package.
Thank you all for the technical support. One of your Customer Support Engineers was able to recreate the issue and offered a workable solution. It appears that the root cause was a corrupt PowerPoint file. I was able to copy the slides to a new presentation and publish successfully. Thank you!

Hey Tara!
Thanks for sharing your file and allowing me to take a look.
Your course published for me.
You can check out the zipped published output file here as well as the uploaded published version on SCORM Cloud here.
If you continue to experience difficulty publishing, you may want to repair your software.
I just received the same error message this morning and have tried repairing my software to no avail. Help!

Oh no, Nathan! Sorry to hear you're having trouble, too.
Would you mind sending us your Articulate Package so we can test publishing it on our end?
First, follow these steps to create an Articulate Package. Then, attach that package to this form. We'll help you sort this out as soon as possible!

Well, that is fantastic news Nathan. I appreciate you popping in to share what you learned and glad that it's working well for you now.
