Presenter / Quizmaker AICC Publish Issue: Mastery score always set to 80% even when changed in QM

May 02, 2017

Hi folks,

I'm a relative "newbie" to Articulate 360, but have a few years of experience working in other development environments and the LMS my company has chosen (provided by ADP).  We publish AICC packages rather than SCORM or Tin Can, and I have found this issue while publishing from Articulate Presenter with a quiz from Quizmaker: No matter what I set the passing score in QM, the mastery score in the AICC metadata files remains as 80%, which is the default in QM. (Typically we require 90% or 100% in our quizzes.) Any idea why this would be, or if it's a bug that could be addressed?

When publishing from Storyline, the AICC metadata's mastery score is reflective of whatever settings we have used in setting up the quiz, but with Presenter / Quizmaker it always shows 80%.

By all means, let me know if I can provide further information to help inform or troubleshoot.

Thanks!

Dave

Hi Dave, welcome to Heroes!

Thanks for reaching out to us about this. I would expect the mastery score to match the passing score in Quizmaker, so I'd like us to take a deeper look at this. I've opened a case for you (01068804), and you should hear back from our team shortly.

We'll likely need to take a closer look at your Articulate Package, so use this link that is unique to your case to send it to us privately.

Thank you, Alyssa! I manually changed the mastery score in the metadata of the existing package, but I can re-publish it and send you the new package. Stay tuned... :)

Edit: I didn't immediately understand what you meant by the "Articulate Package" but I've got it now, and have just sent it to you.  Please let me know if you need anything else.
