Presenter Translate Export to Word Broken in New Version

Jun 29, 2020

I have two computers running Articulate Presenter. I need to translate about 570 modules into multiple different languages and am using the Translate->Export to Word function. The one I VPN into has an old version V8.22.18421.0 and it works perfectly. I am running the current version (V8.25.21221.0) on my home desktop that I am using due to COVID and it gives me the infamous Articulate "We're sorry, something went wrong..." error. I have re-installed both the 32 bit and 64 bit versions of PowerPoint 365 and Articulate 365 to no avail. Is there a solution to fixing this issue other than having to use my VPN which is not ideal? Or, is there a way to install the previous version that seems to work?

I understand the old version is not supported and has issues with the new version of Chrome and will do the actual publishing on the new version. I just need to be able to export and import these translation documents.

Hi Mitch,

Sorry to hear this error keeps coming up! Just to clarify, are you using the desktop app version of Office 365, or the web version? Here are the supported versions for Studio 360:

If you're using the web version, it may be the cause of the error. Though if the same version of Powerpoint is working with an older update, you may want to connect with a support engineer to take a closer look to see what's causing the issue!
