Need to know what the name of the slide background area is so I can select and change it on the Player> Options>Colors menu. I've circled the area in the image below.
I believe you're using Studio '13 and that looks like a slide with, possibly, just a screenshot in the slide. I can't be certain without more information, however.
The area you have highlighted isn't part of the player - that would be slide content. Your slide background will be displayed in this area, if you're not using an interaction. You can use PowerPoint's "Design" tab to select or create a theme for your project.
If you have any other trouble with this, please try to provide a little more detail on the content and what you'd like to do.
I couldn't tell what the content was, is all :) It looked like a screenshot/image of a system, but with the caption I thought perhaps it was a recording or interactive/Flash presentation.
You stated "Your slide background will be displayed in this area, if you're not using an interaction." Since I am using an interaction (Captivate 7 training simulation inserted flash .swf) is there some way I can change the color of the white are that displays above and below the interaction, since it doesn't fit on the screen. Unfortunately because of the size differences, It looks like there is a "widescreen" movie running on an old tube tv. I'd like to change the color to match the frame so the white area isn't so obtrusive.
This should simply be a part of you slide background from Powerpoint. You can check out your options in this article if you'd like, but this is not a part of the Presenter Player.

it is Studio 13. The content is a flash movie that was added to a slide, not a screenshot. Is that what you mean by an interaction?
Thanks
