Problem publishing Articulate 09 from repurposed slides with quiz

Here is the situation breakdown:

1. I had formerly published 7 short, rapidly developed Articulate CBT courses.
2. I now need to condense the 7 courses into 3.  Same content, organized a bit differently.
3. I reused the existing slides, reshuffled them into the three new courses.  They each included Engage Interactions, Quizmaker Quizes and one of them had a Captivate demo embedded.
4. ***When I attempt to publish them "for the web", the "player" folder that is usually created fails to create.  I have figured out that if I remove the Quizmaker quiz, it publishes fine.
5. ***When I publish for our LMS and zip it, it fails as well.  Some of the required files are not being created.

I have tried many things but to no avail.  Is there anyone who has encountered a similiar situation or has any ideas?
