If you add a Wipe animation to a presentation you may find that the animation does not complete. Please review this article which outlines suggestions to resolve this issue:
For the second one I've attached image here with arrow mark. We need to publish it several time to eradicate this space. This gap may come any part of the paragraph.
In addition to Gerry's reply, you may need to check to see if you copied and pasted the text from another program like Microsoft Word. If you did, copy and paste the text into Notepad. This will remove the extra formatting creating by Microsoft Word. Then, copy and paste the text from Notepad back into PowerPoint. I've seen that workaround resolve several similar issues.
