Problem with images

Mar 30, 2013

     Hello everybody

I already have PowerPoint presentations that have images in them. When opened them with articulate presenter they appeared just fine, but when I published it, they just vanished. Can't figure it out. Please help!

Welcome to E-Learning Heroes, Yusef!

First, try to make sure you're working with local presentation files.

  • Work on your local drive (your C: drive). Working on a network drive or a USB drive can cause erratic behavior, including file corruption, loss of audio, and other unexpected behavior.
  • You should also make sure the directory path to your project files and your published output is less than 260 characters (for example C:\Articulate).
  • Avoid using special characters, accents or symbols in your file names.

Additional information regarding "Naming Files, Paths, and Namespaces" in Windows operating systems can be found in the following Microsoft article.

If the images in your Presenter '09 presentation do not appear in the published output, please do the following:

POWERPOINT 2007:

1) Click the round Microsoft Office button in the upper left corner of the PowerPoint window.

2) Select PowerPoint Options.

3) Select the Advanced tab from the left pane.

4) Scroll to the bottom of the details pane, and click the Web Options button.

5) Select the Browsers tab.

6) Select the check box for "Allow PNG as a graphics format".

7) Deselect the check box for "Rely on VML for displaying graphics in browsers".

8) Click the OK button twice to save your changes.

9) Republish your presentation.
