problem with recorder in Presenter after V8 install Jun 24, 2011 By regina coll Hi - I am having a problem using the recorder - as soon as I start recording the slide advances as well as the slide counter, but not the notes window - so I cna't really tell where I am and am afriad the SYNCH will be messed up --- can anyone help? -Regina

Then, try the following to resolve the issue: 1) Select slide 1. 2) Go to the Design tab. 3) Click the drop-down arrow for Themes, and select "Save Current Theme". 4) Assign a name to the custom theme. 5) Then click the drop-down arrow for Themes again. 6) Right-click a Built-In theme, and select "Apply to Selected Slides". 7) Record narration for slide 1. 8) Then go back to the Design tab, and click the drop-down arrow for Themes. 9) Right-click the custom theme, and select "Apply to Selected Slides". After that, try to replicate your issue with recording.
