I publish to web and can preview the presentation, but when I upload it to the web and click on the link, it flashes but doesn't bring up the content. I have tried several times but to no avail. Any help out there?
The package is attached. It is a work in progress, but was testing to see if it would publish on my university web server and when I click on the link, the browser window flashes and nothing happens.
Hi Cheri! I'm not seeing a file attached. Be sure that you are utilizing the 'Add Attachment' option in the reply box from within the forums and not attaching via e-mail.
I was able to view your link. I used both Chrome and Explorer to click on the link and had others do it as well and they were unable to get it to load.
Thanks for popping in with an update. Interesting that it works for you, but not for your users.
I cannot view your link, looks like a secure server.
Can you verify that the users systems are up to date and have the latest flash installed? I'm unable to replicate and you are not able to replicate, so sounds like it is system specific. Do you have an IT Team to work with?
I am checking with the IT department at the University to see if they can offer any help.
So, you are having the same issue when you go to my link that my users are. It should be accessible to anyone who gets to the address. It is not secured against outside people viewing (there is no authentication required for viewing) just to upload to the server.
I’ll let you know what the IT department says if they get back with me. My assignment is due in a couple weeks and I want to make sure I work out whatever technical issues there might be so I don’t miss any deadlines.
That did help me view the presentation, but the quizzes don't work at all. In some of the presentation files (/presentation_html5.html), you can see the quiz but none of the answers are working correctly. If I just click on (presentation.html) that doesn't show me the quiz page, just the presentation.
I have never done this via a html before, I always do it with SCORM on our LMS, but I don't have access to one for this project. I need this to work smoothly.
You want to be sure that you are zipping from the publish successful window and uploading the entire published package. You can find instructions here. This will allow the quiz to be a part of the published project as expected.
You should share the presentation.html file and then the appropriate version will be shown to learners as explained here.
Ended up having to abandon the presentation method of delivering this content. The quizzes wouldn't work and caused the whole thing to lock up. The size of the window was too small to really deliver well. So, I'm going to deliver this using a Scorm file.
Now I have another question. If I want the slides to advance only on clicking next, where do I set that? I have tried to do it in the transitions section in powerpoint, but that doesn't seem to impact how the class publishes.

Hi Cheri!
Are you viewing in a supported environment as defined here?
Would you be able to share your Articulate Package for us to take a look?
Yes, I am running in a supported environment.

File attached this time.
Hi Cheri!
I uploaded your course to Tempshare to test and do not have any difficulty with the course.
Can you see my published output:
http://s3.amazonaws.com/tempshare-stage.studio.articulate.com/prp1abt1e275r9ppu89fs1a3gvr54/presentation.html
If so, you may need to simply re-publish/upload. If not, what browser are you utilizing so I can try to duplicate.

I just reviewed the link it looks like it didn't give the whole url.
Hi Cheri!
Yes, that link works, but I cannot access the course.
I wanted to share some additional information to see if this may help.

Maybe we are getting closer Cheri :)

Hi Cheri!
You would change this setting in the slide properties and make sure it states Advance by User.
