Many thanks Phil. I tried that and works for some presentations but not all. When I look at the project files the unplayable presentations lack a 'player' folder. Why that would happen to some but not all of the presentations when published to CD?
may be that the publish was not successful, I would check the path length of the published directory is less than 260 characters and not on a network drive.
Do you want to send us the trouble courses to see if we can figure out what's going on with them? First, create an Articulate Presenter Package of your presentation(s) as described here. Then upload the resulting zip file(s) from your computer on the second page of this form, and we''ll attempt to diagnose what's happening when we receive your upload. Thanks!

I would publish to CD and run the .exe file

They are all being published to the same place and with equally short directory paths.
