Publishing in Presenter '13- Course vs. Lesson

Hello, when publishing to a Cornerstone LMS, I'm wondering what the LMS Course Information and LMS Lesson SCORM Information is actually passing to the LMS/Cornerstone.
Is COURSE and LESSON setting a heirarchy of some form? i.e.: Course is made up of lessons (or vice versa)? The IDENTIFIER has me troubled if so.
