Publishing my eLearning resouce in Articulate presenter to the web

Apr 20, 2015

Hi,
I completed an eLearning resource using articulate presenter, I now want to publish this site to the web, using my domain name in the Yola server, http://markmaguire.yolasite.com/

The articulate site asks me before I can publish:the folllowing:
Using the Articulate FTP Feature.
Here's how to use the FTP feature in your Articulate software to upload content to a server:

When you see the Publish Successful window, click the FTP option.
On the FTP Published Content window, enter your FTP information.
You'll need to consult your server administrator or your hosting company for the following information.

Server: It should look something like ftp.myserver.com

Port: The default port is 21, but you may change this if your server administrator requires a different port.

Username: Supplied by your server administrator.

Password: Supplied by your server administrator.

Directory: Enter the directory (or path) where you'd like to store your published content on the server. For example: articulate/content

I have no idea where to get the FTP information,  what the server is?  the port? Username? Password? Directory?

I would be very gratefull for some help on this.

Kind Regards

Mark Maguire

Hi Leslie,

I was given a temporary store and URL to publish my resource, this was
deactivated today, would it be possible to reactivate it for another day so
I can save it, its pretty important as its my resource for my masters in
applied elearning, sorry for not saving it before this date, as I know it
was to be deactivated.

Thank you

Hi Mark! Unfortunately Tempshare auto-deletes after 10 days and I cannot recover this. You would not be able to save the project from the published output either. You should have your project files where you were working on as well as the published output file saved locally before you uploaded to Tempshare :) Hope that helps.
