Hi, where do I get this information?

Apr 20, 2015

FTP option.
On the FTP Published Content window, enter your FTP information. You'll need to consult your server administrator or your hosting company for the following information.
Server: It should look something like ftp.myserver.com
Port: The default port is 21, but you may change this if your server administrator requires a different port.
Username: Supplied by your server administrator.
Password: Supplied by your server administrator.
Directory: Enter the directory (or path) where you'd like to store your published content on the server. For example: articulate/content

Hi Leslie,

No, I was looking for a source or path to find this information, as I cant
publish to the web at the moment, I used your temporary 10 day site and my
resource published to that no problem its link is;

Hi Mark!

The FTP option would be for uploading to an internal server as explained here. If you are not sure how to FTP to your server, then you can use a 3rd party tool as the article explains.

I'm not sure what you mean by not being able to publish to web as the Tempshare option is utilizing publish to web and it looks like it worked great for you.

Hi Mark!

Your subsequent comment makes me think you may not need to utilize the internal server/FTP option that you initially asked about.

If you don't have access to a web server, here are a few free options to consider:

  • Tempshare: This is a free service provided by Articulate for testing content. It's only a temporary solution for hosting content. Uploaded files will be deleted after 10 days. Note: The article specifically mentions Articulate Storyline content, but Tempshare also works with Articulate Studio '13 content.
  • Amazon S3: Amazon S3 offers free hosting with generous usage limits. If you go over your limit, you'll be charged a graduated fee.
  • Dropbox: Place your published output in the Public folder in your Dropbox account to share it with others.
  • Google Drive: Change presentation.html to index.html, and set the sharing permissions to Public. Here's how.

Hi Leslie,

I was given a temporary store and URL to publish my resource, this was
deactivated today, would it be possible to reactivate it for another day so
I can save it, its pretty important as its my resource for my masters in
applied elearning, sorry for not saving it before this date, as I know it
was to be deactivated.
