Question about tabs
Feb 23, 2011
Hi all,
On a few recent courses, on what seems like on my development PC only, the tabs in a published occasionally don't work. For example, I mouse over the "attachments" tab. It changes color, but doesn't drop down when clicked. Likewise, "Exit" changes color, but doesn't prompt the exit dialog when clicked. This seems to be consistently happening if I trigger a security warning, like a pop-up blocker, and then allow the action. If I close completely out of IE, not just the course, and re-enter without resuming, I can have control of the tabs back. If I only close the course or if I resume, then the issue with tabs seems to remain.
This doesn't seem to be happening for my colleagues and support has been unable to duplicate the error, so I thought I'd put it out there to see if anyone had similar experiences. Just trying to isolate the problem a bit in case a user ever runs into this.
I'm using XP 32bit SP3, IE 7.05730, Flash 10.1, and .NET Framework 3.5 SP1. I'm hosting on Articulate Online.
Thanks,
~A

Is the content located on a local drive, network drive or is it hosted on a website via an HTTP address?
I noticed the problem hosting on Articulate Online. Due to network permissions, I can't seem to test it properly locally.
You may want to reset Internet Explorer to its default settings. In Internet Options, on the Security, Privacy, and Advanced tabs, reset everything to its default settings. There is a button on each tab to reset defaults. You could also do a more advanced reset. Here's how:
