Quiz Stalling in LMS Loaded Course

Mar 28, 2013

I'm testing my course in our LMS to ensure it completes appropriately before assigning it to our leaders. 5 questions into the course, the quiz stalls out, and I can't progress. This is version 2 of a course we assigned last year, and only minor changes were made to reflect the current year's information.

Does anyone know what could be happening? It didn't behave like this before. Also, I recently reinstalled based on the recent update for IE 10, that ensures courses will complete in that  browser. Could this be the issue?

Hi Nicole,

First, when you updated the course did you overwrite the original? If so, try clearing your browser cache and see if that resolves the problem. If not, can you try loading the course in a different web browser (Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox)?

If the problem continues, would you mind testing your course in SCORM Cloud to help us determine if the issue is Articulate related or if it's on your LMS's side?

If it appears in SCORM Cloud as well, we'd be happy to take a closer look at what might be going on.

If you can't replicate the issue in SCORM Cloud, it's probably an issue that you'd want to take to your LMS team. The articles here and here may also help clear up common LMS issues.

Thanks!

Thanks, Christine.

I didn't overwrite the original. It's currently on our "dev" site for testing.

I originally tried in Chrome, but the course would not launch at all. When I switched to IE, it launched, but that's when the quiz stalled out.

I uploaded to Scorm Cloud and tested it. The course is stalling out in the same place it did on our LMS. I'm going to try to republish the course and reupload to the SCORM Cloud. If that still doesn't work, I would love a fresh set of eyes to see what I'm missing.

Hi Nicole,

Thanks very much for testing that out. Hopefully republishing will resolve this. If it doesn't, we'd be happy to take a look at what's going on with the quizzes.
