Script Errors when adding AS3.0 SWF to Presenter

I followed the procedure outlined by Brian on how to add an ActionScript 3.0 SWF to my presentation and it works fine except that I get the following script errors when I try to navigate away from the slide:

Error: Unable to set value of the property 'XXX': Object is null or undefined where XXX is each of the following properties

'ObjectShowHide'

'GetVariablesData'

'GetVariables'

'GetCourseAttribute'

'GetCourseAttributes'

'GetCourseManifest'

'ExternalInterfaceSend'
