Wow, that does look strange. It almost seems like the text in the second screenshot is doubled. Have you made any recent changes or updates, or has this been happening for a while? If this is something that's just started happening, have you tried restarting the machine?
Do you think perhaps my Articulate has been corrupted somehow. Should I perhaps uninstall and re-install?
I also got this message when trying to publish today.
Can I use the old mail with link to re-install if I first uninstall from my computer and make a backup of the files I have under C:\Users\eraaaps\Documents\My Articulate Projects?
First thing I noticed, right off the bat, is that directory in the error. Try placing the files on your C: drive, if you can.
Here's some additional information about file placement:
If you are experiencing unexpected issues using Articulate software, here are some tips for managing your files which can help prevent issues.
1. Work on your local drive (your C: drive). Working on a network drive or a USB drive can cause erratic behavior, including file corruption, loss of audio, and other unexpected behavior.
2. You should also make sure the directory path to your project files and your published output is less than 260 characters (for example C:\Articulate).
3. Avoid using special characters, accents or symbols in your file names.
Additional information regarding "Naming Files, Paths, and Namespaces" in Windows operating systems can be found in the following Microsoft article: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa365247(VS.85).aspx
If you do move the files and you still see this error, we'll need to investigate a little further.
Do you know what version of Microsoft Office is installed? We'll also need to find out if you're running the 32-bit or 64-bit installation. If you need help finding this information, just let me know!
I am having the EXACT same issue. Just started tonight. I've been working on the same file all day with no issues. Mine happened when I tried replacing a flv file. Now I get blank fields when I try to insert flash as well as slide properties is no longer working!
Would love advice on how to correct!!!!!
I am using PPT 2007 via VMware on a Mac. I am working in the windows xp space of the computer. I have the files in a shared folder on the c drive.
