Had to update a presentation and when I clicked publish, it is almost taking an hour. This is a 55 page presentation. The first time it was published it only took a few minutes. I have rebooted my machine but it still taking way too long to publish. How can I speed this up?

That certainly does not sound like the norm and sounds specific to your project perhaps?
I'd try the following:
1) Reboot your computer, then create a new, blank project in Storyline.
2) Import all the slides from your original project into the new project. Here's how.
