I'm getting this message upon opening a presentation. I saw an earlier post that says register the Flash.osx files. I don't have either a Macromed or Adobe folder in the System32 folder. Any one have any other ideas? I'm running Windows 7 with PPT2010.
You're seeing this message because you're viewing Flash content locally on your machine. You should not test web content offline due to browser and Flash player security restrictions. If you are distributing your content offline, you should publish for CD and launch the presentation via Launch_presentation.exe. If you are planning on distributing your content online you should upload the content to the server it will be hosted on and test it there.

Thanks. I'm getting this message when I open the Powerpoint file not the published content. Sounds like you're talking about viewing the presentation output.
No. It's when I open an existing presentation. But not all of them. There's a group of presentations that all have the same type of content but only this one presentation seems to generate the error.

Hi Robert,
Okay, gotcha. Does the error message display when you open a completely new presentation?
No. It's when I open an existing presentation. But not all of them. There's a group of presentations that all have the same type of content but only this one presentation seems to generate the error.

Hi Rob,
You might try the VBA code in the link below to pinpoint the object that is causing the message to display:
