So I'm using Articulate Presenter to make a Spanish version of a training we've developed. However, when I have a quiz, everything in the quiz is still in English - even the feedback, which I manually switched to the Spanish versions of Correct and Incorrect. The submit button, the Results page, the points value - all of it's in English.
Sounds like you may be inserting a Quizmaker quiz into your presentation in Presenter. Have you changed the languages and text labels in Quizmaker as well?
If this isn't what you're trying to do, can you share a little more information about the course?
It sounds like you have embedded a Quizmaker Quiz into your Presenter project, is that correct? If so, be sure that you change the Text Labels setting to Spanish within the Quizmaker template, too, and not just in the Presenter template.
Hmm slightly different issue now... not sure if I should make a new post, but when I apply the spanish template and save the quiz, a second, empty copy of the quiz shows up in Presenter. Is this a known bug?
Perhaps I should add that I'm using the Articulate Powerpoint Plug-In.
When you modified the quiz, did you click on "Edit in Quizmaker" from the quiz slide in Presenter/PowerPoint? If not, can you tell me how you modified and updated the quiz?
For the second, blank quiz that was inserted, are you able to delete it from the slides? Is the quiz that you modified translated correctly?
When you say you're using the Plug-in, do you mean you're using the Articulate ribbon, or a third-party plug-in?
That does sound strange, though I am happy to hear the quiz modifications were correctly stored.
One thing that I would check is the location of your presentation and quiz files. If you're not already working locally, it may be best to move the files to your local hard drive when you need to modify your projects.
Work on your local drive (your C: drive). Working on a network drive or a USB drive can cause erratic behavior, including file corruption, loss of audio, and other unexpected behavior.
You should also make sure the directory path to your project files and your published output is less than 260 characters (for example C:\Articulate).
Avoid using special characters, accents or symbols in your file names.
Additional information regarding "Naming Files, Paths, and Namespaces" in Windows operating systems can be found in the following Microsoft article.
If you see any other strange behavior, please let us know!
You mention that working over a network can cause problems - while the project IS currently local, I was going to transfer it over the network to a seperate computer for the recording of narration. Will this affect my project negatively?
You should be perfectly fine doing that, just make sure that when you go to modify or text that presentation it's on the local hard drive of the machine. So, you can move it to the network, switch to the other machine and move the files to that machine's hard drive. When you're done, you can transfer it back again :)
You may also want to transfer the files using a Presenter Package, just to be sure that everything moves over correctly:

Hey Christine!
It's just been something I noticed as the training has been giving us some issues and multiple, unexplained quizzes was one of them.
Hi Frank!
Thanks so much for confirming!

I hope this helps :)
