STRANGE HAPPENINGS
May 17, 2014
Hi all...so, not sure what is going on. I have been working on a course. I've revised it, saved it after making changes, etc. However, each time I save and close down, when I reopen the document, much of the formatting has changed...in fact, been lost...mostly the player and course properties. Some of the engage interactions that were clearly part of the course are now not there, but exist elsewhere, and I have to republish them into the course. I recently upgraded using recent upgrades, but it still seems to be quirky. What is going on?
Thx.
Michele

PS...with the above, all of the resources disappear, too.
Hi Michele!
When creating, editing, and publishing Articulate Presenter '13 courses, be sure you're working on your local hard drive (typically your C: drive). Working on a network drive or a USB drive can cause erratic behavior, such as file corruption, an inability to save changes, and loss of resources. See this article for more information.
So, I am working on the c drive...and it happened again...I can try to repair..but not sure what is going on...I just opened the document, and it did it again.
Sorry...it's not the content...it's all the formatting and it also removed my resources again...I recently updated also, so I am just boggled.
My husband is looking through this with me...he's a tech guy...and the program is doing all sorts of strange things...and we repaired...this is the last course of a seven-part series...and I have had to reformat it three times after it has been saved...I am just about to go batty...I've been having troubles regularly...but when I sent it for full troubleshooting, there were no problems...is it my computer?
AND...each time I open up the course, once it's been saved, it also shows all of my engage interactions locked, when I have already programmed them to be free...something definitely wrong
