Studio '13 update and new empty folders being created on the fly

Hi, my manager and I just upgraded to latest version of Studio '13. We work in different locations and with completely different systems/system configurations. We've both noticed that since the upgrade, we're seeing an empty folder being created on-the-fly every time we close a PPT file. So, the steps to re-create issue are:
1. open an existing PPT file
2. close the file
3. notice that in same directory as PPT is a new folder and empty folder that has been created on-the-fly bearing the same name as PPT.
The above issue began occurring immediately after we each did our Studio upgrade and so we think the issue is related to the upgrade.
Thank you,
Melanie

Hi Melanie!
This is actually an issue that our QA Team has been made aware of and are working on. I have added this thread for awareness and will update when applicable.
Hi Leslie!
Looking forward to word on this...even if it's a workaround! We have a unique system where we build in one location and we now have a large number of empty folders we have to clean up in order to keep track of our projects.

Hi Keith!
I will post an update here when applicable.
Here is our documentation on this issue.
Thanks for the update. Last question: when do you anticipate the next software update for Presenter?
Hi Melanie! I do not have any dates to share on this. This thread will be updated when it happens if you just want to make sure that you are subscribed and we typically announce these things on our blog as well. I do know that there is already some Beta testing going on
Hey everyone!
Just wanted to pop in and update everyone and let you know that a fix for this issue was released in Update 4 for Presenter and is available now
